Webster Library Foundation

The Webster Library Foundation began in 2010 with bequests from individuals like you who value their library. The Foundation seeks to ensure that your neighborhood library continues to thrive and provide the quality materials and dedicated service long into Webster’s future. As state and local governments struggle with budget constraints, we have been forced to rely more and more on the generosity of our community. With your direct donation today or a planned future bequest, your generous legacy will live on by strengthening your library’s future one story at a time.

Donations to the Webster Public Library Foundation help support large-scale projects that improve our community’s experience using the library and ensure the library’s ability to meet our community’s changing needs. The Foundation has supported the loaning of WiFi units, starting the Wonderbook collection, and hoopla.

The Friends of the Webster Library and the Webster Public Library Foundation are 501(c)(3) organizations.

The Friends of the Webster Public Library accepts donations of books, audiobooks, DVDs, and other materials. Items that are not added to the library’s collection will go into the Friends’ book sale to support library programming, the purchase of new materials, and other special projects. Donations may be dropped off at the library during normal hours. We are currently unable to accept magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, National Geographic, or Reader’s Digest Condensed Books. At this time we are only accepting 2 boxes of donations per person.
