Nonprofit organizations may apply to use the Community Room and Study Rooms when they are not in use for library-sponsored activities. Our policies outlines the criteria that is used when reviewing requests from outside groups.
Reserving a Room
- To reserve a study room, visit this online booking page.
- Note: To book a study room for today, please call 585-872-7075.
- To reserve the Community Room, visit this online booking page.
- Once there, find the date of your event on the calendar and click it.
- Study rooms may be reserved up to 2 weeks in advance.
- The Community Room applications must be submitted at least 2 weeks but not more than 2 months in advance.
- Click on the times for the duration of your meeting.
- Note: Study rooms cannot be booked for more than 2 hours per day.
- Select continue and fill out the information.
- Once submitted, applicants will be notified whether they are accepted or denied.
- The library does not charge for use of the room, but we welcome donations to help defray operating costs.
Policies
Digital Displays in Study Rooms
All 3 of our study rooms are equipped with digital displays. You can connect your laptop or other device to our digital displays via the Solstice Mirror app, Apple Airplay, the Wi-Fi network for the study rooms, or with an HDMI cord. Our digital displays are great for sharing presentation slides or notes with a small group.
